Gabe Valle is a New York jazz and classical violinist, pianist, and composer. Studio recordings and performances for The Beach Boys, DMX, The Wonder Years, John The Martyr, Eve, Barrage, and Jermaine Paul demonstrate Gabe’s ability to play any genre professionally. The American String Teachers Association formally recognized this strength in 2013, awarding Gabe the Grand Champion prize of their Eclectic Strings Competition. He has performed at Barclays Center, Eisenhower Hall, The Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. While Gabe currently calls Manhattan home, he never stops traveling for performance and studio bookings throughout the northeast.
Gabe trained with the best. Years of studying under John Blake Jr., Rich Perry, Andy Stein, and Mulgrew Miller taught him a range of playing skills. He eventually earned his degree in jazz and classical violin performance from William Paterson University. In addition to bookings, Gabe is an on-demand composer for SoundFood Audio. He also fills the role of Music Director at the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey to over 500 families each weekend.
With appearances playing on over fourty album recordings, Gabe continues to compose his own songs in his spare time. Everything from jazz, classical, pop, folk, punk, hip-hop and indie appear in his writing and back-story, and his wide breadth of musical skills has earned him honors over the years including the National Student Orchestra Award and the National Choral Award. As Gabe continues to play in performances and on studio recordings this year, he is eager to expand his to include more albums, more stages, and more music.
